MC Fuel Tanker Driver / Relief Driver Positions
Emerald Carrying Company (ECC)is seeking reliable, safety-focused, and skilled MC Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our transport operations team based at our Mackay Depot.
As aRelief Driver,you will provide operational support across a variety of fuel transport operations, covering planned leave, operational requirements, and business needs.
This role offers variety, exposure to multiple transport tasks, and the opportunity to work across different fleet configurations and customer operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

We welcome applications from MC drivers without prior fuel tanker experience.
Our comprehensive training program is designed to provide the skills, confidence, and accreditations required to operate safely and professionally as a Fuel Tanker Driver.
The Role
Benefit from a predictable work-life balance with either a consistent7-on/7-off rosteror a rotating schedule of5am shifts, 5pm shifts, and 5 non-rostered days
Operate a variety of fuel tanker combinations across ECC's transport operations
Provide relief and operational support across multiple fuel transport runs and customer sites
Load and deliver bulk fuel products to remote retail service stations
Conduct vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections
Comply with fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), dangerous goods, and road transport legislation
Accurately complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and electronic reporting requirements
Maintain a high standard of professionalism when interacting with customers and site personnel

About You
Current MC Licence with manual driving (Road Ranger) experience
Previous heavy vehicle driving experience in any industry
Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence or willingness to obtain
Previous bulk fuel experience highly regarded but not essential
Safe Load Pass and Basic Fatigue Management accreditation preferred
Willingness to complete any required training and licensing
