An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced leader to manage a well-established residential Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) therapeutic community in regional Victoria.
This is a fantastic prospect for someone with experience in residential rehabilitation, AOD, mental health or broader community services who is passionate about leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care.
You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a large residential service while supporting staff, driving continuous improvement and ensuring clients receive safe, person-centred support throughout their recovery journey.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Residential Services, you'll be responsible for the overall management of the residential program, ensuring safe, effective and evidence-based service delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Leading the day-to-day operations of a residential rehabilitation service
Providing leadership, supervision and support to multidisciplinary staff
Managing recruitment, workforce planning, rostering and performance development
Driving trauma-informed, client-centred practice across the service
Maintaining occupancy, service quality and contractual outcomes
Leading continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities
Building strong relationships with health, justice,
housing and community stakeholders
Supporting staff with complex clinical presentations and operational decision making
Ensuring compliance with legislative, accreditation and workplace safety requirements
Contributing to strategic planning and ongoing service development
About You
We're looking for an experienced leader who enjoys building high-performing teams while maintaining a strong focus on client outcomes.
You'll ideally bring:
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Health Sciences or a related discipline
Significant leadership experience within AOD, mental health, community health or residential services
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic models of care
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams within complex service environments
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
Strong operational leadership including workforce planning, budgeting and service delivery
Knowledge of withdrawal management, AOD treatment pathways and complex client needs will be highly regarded
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
