About the Role
You will be responsible for working on live carrier networks, completing high-quality fibre optic splicing, testing and fault finding across a range of telecommunications projects.
Assisting with the installation of cables in High value MDU and Rail Corridor environments.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience splicing oncarrier fibre networks
Experience working withlive fibre networks
High standard of fibre optic splicing and enclosure preparation
Competent in OTDR and insertion loss testing
Ability to interpret fibre schematics and network plans
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Current Australian Driver Licence
Construction White Card
Highly Regarded
RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card
Experience working within rail corridors
Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
First Aid and CPR
Telecommunications qualifications
