We are looking for a 2nd Class Fabricator/ Welder who has had previous steel fabrication workshop experience to come and join our long serving team at our Cockburn premises.
What you'll be driving:
How you'll make an impact:
Fabricate and assemble metal components for reinforcement cages , telecoms towers and masts.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
Perform cutting, bending, grinding, and shaping of steel and other metals.
Carry out MIG, welding to industry and company standards.
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with tolerances and specifications.




Maintain fabrication and welding equipment in safe working order.
Work collaboratively with workshop staff to meet project deadlines.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Undertake general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe workshop environment.
Complete other duties as directed to support operational requirements.
What sets you apart:
Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical instructions.
Background in steel heavy vehicle, trailer, or transport equipment fabrication/repairs , parts and welding
Proficiency in MIG, welding techniques.
Ability to fabricate, cut, bend, and shape steel with accuracy.
Skilled in operating fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., plasma cutters, guillotines, presses, grinders, drills).
Competence in carrying out quality checks and ensuring dimensional accuracy.
Knowledge of safe work practices and equipment care.
Forklift and/or gantry crane operating experience (Advantageous).
