The RoleAs the Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations across Bistro and Function services, ensuring high-quality food, efficient stock control, team supervision, and compliance with food safety standards.
This hands-on role includes menu development, cost control, and staff leadership, and oversees day-to-day kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence.
Skills & Attributes
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader in a high-volume venue.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate teams.
Knowledge of menu planning, food costing, stock control, and purchasing.
Solid understanding of HACCP, food safety, and WHS requirements.
Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
