About Edinburgh Health Centre
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
This super-base accommodates **** personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine.
The health centre operates a 16 bed low dependency ward 24/7.
It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services.
Standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you'll do




Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
Undertaking assessments, interventions, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse One of the following:ACMHN credentialed Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health NurseMinimum two years' Post RN general registration experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' as per Medicare Schedule Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
