We are looking for another friendly and passionate personal trainer to join our cohesive team...
We can offer you:
Loyal and regular clientsready to be trained (rather than you having to constantly chase new clients)
Friendly and cooperative teammembers (rather than you having to undercut and compete with other PTs)
Regular up-skilling and mentoringto teach you the technical skills and communication skills you need to become a 1st class trainer (rather than you stagnating and not keeping up with industry trends)
Being paidan hourly wage plus super as an actual employee of our team (rather than you being a contractor paying rent to a big-box gym)
***** hours per weekaverage with option of more hours (to suit your studies/sports and desired income)
The option of delivering both Personal Training sessions and Group Training sessions (so you get avariety of experience and skills)
A private, boutique, well-equippedpersonal training studioin which to train our amazing clients... and also do your own training.
Staff discounton our supplement range.
The right team member who shows outstanding initiative, reliability, customer service and leadership potential will also be considered for apermanent salaried manager role.
If this sounds like the position you've been waiting for, here's what we would need from you:
The ability and enthusiasm forbuilding relationships and communicating effectivelywith a variety of clients (especially those over the age of 40).
Trainers who have some emotional maturity and life experience do well on our team.
If you find it intimidating, boring or unpleasant talking to normal middle-aged people and building rapport, this is not the job for you.
The passion tohelp regular, middle aged, busy peopleof our local community to exercise safely and effectively to improve their physical and mental wellness.
If you're just looking to train "buff-dudes" and "bikini-babes" trying to get shredded for a music festival, this is definitely not the place for you.
Cert IV minimumqualifications or a university equivalent such as Exercise Science (still completing the degree is ok).
Beingreliable and available to work early mornings(including Saturdays) and some afternoons.
If you often tell people that you're "not a morning person", it's best you don't apply.
Someexperience with delivering personal training and/or group training sessionsis preferred (but not essential).
Experience in a different customer-service role/industry will also get you points.
Living relativelyclose to theBooragoon area or surrounds(i.e. minimal travel time).
If you live North Of The River, this is likely not the place for you.
You get extra brownie points if you have recently or currentlyplay a team sportlike footy, netball, soccer, Mongolian yak polo, etc..

We want trainers who love and thrive working as part of a close team.
Alove of resistance trainingand a passion for helping people to lift weights safely and sensibly.
We're not looking for Eddie Hall here, but you should be lifting weights at least 2-3 times per week yourself (you know, walk the talk...)
