As Adventure World's Guest Experience Coordinator, you will lead a passionate team focused on creating happiness, magical memories and an awesome experience for every guest.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering genuine leadership responsibility within a complex, high-volume operational environment—along with a level of work–life balance rarely found in the hospitality, tourism, leisure and entertainment industries.
What makes this role different?
Adventure World typically operates from 10am to 5pm across approximately 160 trading days each year, with only around 15 nights of operation per season.
During the Park's winter shutdown from May to August, you will predominantly work Monday to Friday.
During the trading season, weekend and public holiday work is required; however, outside the peak summer period, you will typically work a five-day roster with two days off each week.
You will coordinate a energetic team of more than 50 operational team members, providing valuable leadership experience that can help take your career to the next level.
You will also have opportunities to contribute to operational projects and guest experience initiatives alongside senior leaders from across the business.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager,
you will support the delivery of superior guest service standards and the seamless operation of the Park's admissions and Guest Experience functions.
You will provide clear direction to the team, reinforce high service, safety and operational standards, and play an important role in identifying, coaching and mentoring emerging talent.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, motivating and supporting the Guest Experience team.
Reinforcing accountability for agreed service, safety and operational standards.
Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the Park's admissions function.
Monitoring and reporting on Guest Experience metrics, service standards and performance trends.
Supporting and coordinating the delivery of the Guest Communication Strategy.
Coordinating team performance, development and progression initiatives.
Supporting Guest Experience projects and continuous improvement actions.
Managing rosters, stock requirements and relevant operational budgets.
Reviewing business performance information and preparing regular KPI reports for the Operations Manager.
Managing guest enquiries and feedback to achieve fair and effective outcomes.
