By uniting Community Service Organisations (including Uniting), Aboriginal services, Family Safety Victoria (FSV), and the Department of Families, Fairness & Housing (DFFH), The Orange Door creates a single, accessible entry point for support — and we want passionate practitioners to join us.
You'll be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe and effective responses to families when they need it most.
Be the first point of contact for people seeking helpProvide compassionate, informed advice and informationConduct risk assessments and engage with clients to understand their needsWork closely with partner agencies to create coordinated, client‐focused responsesSupport improved outcomes for children, young people and families

Your skills and experience
Qualification requirementA Bachelor of Social Work OR equivalent qualification.OR have a minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience.OR have a related qualification relevant to child and family welfare as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners.OR hold significant cultural knowledge and experience.OR lived experience and have faced barriers to educational pathways as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners.Current Victorian Driver's License.Demonstrated ability as a practitioner in the child,
