We are currently seeking an experiencedDeli Assistantto join our friendly and fast-paced team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys food preparation, customer service, and working in a busy retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, cooking, and presenting deli products to a high standard
Serving customers promptly and professionally
Slicing, weighing, and packaging meats, cheeses, and deli items
Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Stock rotation, temperature checks, and waste minimisation
Assisting with merchandising and maintaining attractive displays
Working efficiently during peak trade periods
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in a deli environment
Cooking or food preparation experience
Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices




Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills
Experience in a supermarket or retail setting
Understanding of HACCP or food safety procedures
Confident knife-handling and slicing machine experience
