We're looking for a capable and confident Payroll & Accounts Officer to take ownership of a dynamic, high-volume payroll supporting around 300+ employees across multiple entities and Up-to-date Awards, whilst also supporting the accounting team.

The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in keeping our organisation running smoothly, with variety, responsibility, and the chance to make meaningful improvements, including;
Take ownership of end-to-end payroll across multiple entities.
Navigate complex payroll inputs including rosters, penalties, and allowances with confidence.
Ensure compliance across awards, tax, and superannuation requirements.
Support Accounts Payable and Receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs.
Deliver accurate payroll, bank, and ledger reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Maintain high-quality, audit-ready records.
Build strong relationships by providing responsive, professional support to stakeholders.
Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and efficiency.
About You
You're a steady,



experienced professional who takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes and thrives in a role where your expertise is relied upon.
5+ years' experience in payroll and accounts.
Proven success managing payroll for 300+ employees.
Strong experience across multiple Modern Awards and complex payroll environments.
Confident working with roster-based payroll, including penalties and allowances.
Sound knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
Strong reconciliation and accounts capability.
Experience with systems such as FoundU, Xero, NetSuite or similar.
Detail-oriented, organised, and solutions-focused.
A collaborative team player who also enjoys owning their space.
