Superannuation Specialist
Location: Wollongong
Description
This role is responsible for providing support and expert advice to stakeholders across the business on complex superannuation fund rules and administration processes, as well as being abreast of any legislative or fund rule changes that may impact the work performed in the Administration Services teams.
Job specification
Provide accurate and timely subject matter expertise, support and advice to various stakeholders of the business, enabling informed decision-making and driving optimal business outcomes.
Actively triage, assess and support the escalation process where system and process deficiencies are identified.
Act as the conduit between the business and IT provider, providing active representation and participation in various forums, ensuring that the business impact is well understood.
Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of superannuation and fund rules, processes and practices.
proactively initiate, implement or make recommendations for process improvements/innovation initiatives to enhance processing efficiencies.
Actively participate in projects including the change management process, to ensure best outcomes of delivery and implementation.
Skills Required




RG 146 qualified or aptitude and willingness to complete certification.
Extensive experience and knowledge in superannuation fund administration and relevant legislation.
Experience working with defined benefit superannuation funds.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
The ability to effectively communicate with and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
