About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Carers to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to elderly clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person- centred care in alignment with the needs and wishes of each client, focusing on maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Offer emotional and social support, helping clients and their families navigate challenging times
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of clients, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals
Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare providers, and families to provide tailored care to each client
Implement palliative care approaches,



focusing on pain management, comfort, and emotional support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards
Essential Requirements:
Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
Experience working in aged care environments
Understanding of palliative care principles and practices
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
