This is an excellent opportunity to work on major commercial construction projects with an industry-leading contractor.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major building services packages across a range of commercial construction projects.
You will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of projects, ensuring procurement, cost control, subcontract management and contract administration activities are delivered effectively from project commencement through to completion.
Building services experience is essential for this position.
Candidates without previous experience working within a mechanical, electrical or building services contractor environment will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Manage subcontract procurement and contract administration.
Prepare and assess progress claims, variations and payment schedules.
Monitor project budgets, forecasting and cost reporting.
Assist the Project Manager with the commercial delivery of projects.
Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure contractual compliance and accurate project documentation.
Work closely with site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial construction.
Previous experience working for a building services contractor (mechanical, electrical or communications) is essential.
Strong understanding of subcontract management, procurement and commercial contract administration.
Proven experience managing variations, progress claims and project cost reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project setting.
