ICE Engineering (part of the Tasmea Group) are seeking experiencedElectrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Electricianswith robust commissioning experience to join our growing team.
This is a long-term FIFO opportunity offering exposure to large-scale mining projects, technical challenges, and a supportive, high-performing team environment.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Site Superintendent, you will play a key role in supporting commissioning, pre-commissioning, and technical oversight.
This position is responsible for field scoping, work pack preparation, documentation review, troubleshooting, and supporting site teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Support commissioning, pre-commissioning, and system start-up activities
Conduct field inspections, job scoping, and work pack preparation




Provide technical support and troubleshooting both onsite and remotely
Review drawings, documentation, and ensure compliance with site standards
Oversee E&I; activities including testing, verification, and hazardous area compliance
Complete commissioning records, punch lists, and handover documentation
Support site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
About you:
To be successful, you will have:
SA Electrical Workers Licence (or willingness for mutual recognition)
Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation
National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain during recruitment process)
Current CPR/LVR (within the last 12 months)
White Card
Working at Heights (desirable)
EWP (desirable)
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
