Based in Lonsdale, and then working out on-site, we have an excellent opportunity to apply skills focusing on general civil construction duties, including signage, guard rail installation and fencing on a permanent full time basis.
About the Role
Regularly working Monday to Friday starting at 6:30 am with opportunities for weekend overtime or night work, and away travel, the Civil Worker will have the relevant training, qualification, and experience required to support sign installation, fencing, guardrail installation and civil construction projects as needed.
The role requires the ability to complete required documentation and interpret plans with effective communication skills to ensure projects are always delivered in full, on time and, to customer expectations.
About You
The successful Civil Worker will have skills and experience in:
Sign installation
Fencing - including post and rail,



chain mesh and security fencing installation experience
Guard rail and wire rope installation skills
Construction Safety Induction Card
Current Driver's License with Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid Truck License looked upon favourably
Plant Operator Tickets (Pile Driver, Excavator, Skid Steer Front End Loader) preferred
Elevated Work Platform and Electrical Spotter qualifications are ideal but not essential
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role
Be willing to undertake random site drug and alcohol testing
Demonstrate effective time management, planning and organising skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Literacy and numeracy proficiency
Able to work autonomously and responsibly as well as with a team
