As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and experiencedEstimatorwho can contribute to both the estimating function and the ongoing improvement of our internal systems, processes, and business structure.
About the Role
This is more than a traditional estimating position.
We are looking for someone who can accurately price projects while helping us develop efficient procedures, improve workflows, and support the scalability of our business.
The successful candidate will work closely with management, drafting, production, and installation teams to ensure jobs are estimated accurately and handed over effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for cabinetry and joinery projects.
Interpret architectural plans, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Calculate material, hardware, labour, and subcontractor requirements.
Review project documentation and identify discrepancies or missing information.
Liaise with builders, suppliers, clients, and internal teams regarding pricing and specifications.
Assist in developing and refining estimating procedures, templates, and systems.
Help establish and maintain pricing databases and cost control measures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across estimating, drafting, production,



and installation departments.
Monitor estimating performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
Participate in process development to support business growth and increased production capacity.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in cabinetry, joinery, construction estimating, or a similar industry.
Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and hardware.
Ability to interpret plans and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
Experience with Cabinet Vision or similar industry software will be highly regarded.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
