Position Descriptor:
This position involves teaching a range of Year 7 - 12 Maths classes.
Applicants must have experience successfully teaching Year 12 Specialist Maths, a willingness to teach International Baccalaureate Diploma classes and to supervise International Baccalaureate extended essays.
All staff are expected to undertake a mentoring role and deliver holistic education through innovative pedagogies and technologies in all classes to personalise learning and enrich the delivery of face to face curriculum; develop human capabilities/dispositions; use explicit strategies to check for understanding; undertake relevant professional learning to support EALD students to succeed; seek student feedback and fine tune their teaching based on this feedback; incorporate intellectual stretch into all assessment tasks; deliver challenging curriculum to IGNITE students; and to participate in the co-curricular program and the extended school day.




The ability to teach another subject area may be required depending on the needs of the school.
