Job DescriptionDelivers expert, comprehensive nursing care and clinical leadership across a diverse portfolio of specialties, including general surgical, urology, gynaecology, ENT, paediatrics, and plastics.
Actively coordinates complex patient care pathways from pre-operative admission to discharge, serving as a clinical mentor to the ward team while ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced surgical environment.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will be required to act as a team leader, professional resource, passionate mentor, and a positive role model to junior team members.
You will maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and manage rapidly changing situations with proficiency and care.
This leadership role will see the successful candidate be fully supported to enhance their skills and grow a career into a management position.
About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
You will also demonstrate:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 4 years post graduate experience in the acute surgical or medical care
Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
Clinical leadership experience is desirable but not essential.
Overall, you are willing to take on the challenge of this role, to learn, extend and grow your career in a supportive and nurturing environment.
