We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator/Boilermaker to join our rapidly expanding and fast paced workforce.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the fabrication of high-quality metal products.
Annual Salary - $79,500 to $80,000 + superannuation

Responsibilities:
· Interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
· Operate a variety of machinery and tools such as shears, press brakes, saws, grinders, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
· Perform accurate measurements and layout work to ensure precision and conformity to specifications.
· Select appropriate materials and metals for each project based on project requirements and specifications.
· Have a considerable amount of knowledge in MIG welding.
Knowledge in TIG and Stick desirable.
· Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy, completeness, and dimensional requirements of fabricated metal parts.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process, such as equipment malfunctions or material defects.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area,



ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
· Collaborate with colleagues, including engineers and designers, to provide input on design improvements and optimize fabrication processes.
· Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in metal fabrication.
Qualifications:
· Certificate III or equivalent qualification or 3 years of experience can be used in lieu of qualifications
· Mininum of 2 years work experience is essential
· Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role, with a solid understanding of metalworking principles and techniques.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, and specifications.
· Demonstrated proficiency in operating fabrication machinery and tools, including shears, press brakes, saws, grinders, and welding equipment.
· Experience with various welding techniques.
· Excellent mathematical skills, including the ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
· Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues effectively.
· Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to metal fabrication.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
