Chef de Partie
Are you an experienced Chef de Partie with a genuine passion and pride for cooking?
Are you tired of working every weekend and nights?
We are seeking a Chef De Partie to join our small team of Head Chef, Sous Chef and Assistant cooks and provide meals to individuals and regular lunch tour group visitors at our award winning and family run business.
We require a minimum of 3-4 years of chef or senior chef experience.
On top of being a confident chef you will be someone who enjoys mentoring your team of Assistant cooks and be an effective communicator between the team and Sous Chef to drive continual improvement.
You must have knowledge of current food standard, safety and reporting regulations and have a keen eye for detail taking pride in an effective, clean and well-maintained work area.
Previous experience in managing stock, budgeting and costing menu items will be highly valuable.
You will ideally hold a relevant qualification such as a Cert III or commercial cookery in this field and relevant food safety certificate.
You will prepare inspiring dishes to cater to a range of visitor needs including cafe and bistro style menu's, special occasions but also for regular tour group set menu bookings and functions.




We offer a well-established commercial kitchen area with modern equipment and management are supportive of additional and updated equipment as needed.
We offer a range of ovens including convection, speed-pro, wood-fired charcoal oven and hot boxes for catering to our larger groups.
This is a full-time position working daytimes with only the occasional evening for booked functions and every second weekend.
Bonuses on top of salary will be discussed for the right candidate.

Candidates are required to be in Victoria, Australia with Australian working rights at the time of application as shortlisted candidates are required to attend the final interview in person with an immediate start available.
