Join SOILCO as an Analyst, Corporate Development.
With our current Analyst pursuing an international opportunity, we're excited to welcome a new team member to continue driving excellence in this role.
This is a rare opportunity to quick track your career in a high growth, PE backed infrastructure business.
You'll get hands on exposure to live M&A; transactions, financial modelling, due diligence, and direct engagement with senior leadership and investors, well beyond a typical analyst role.
We're looking for someone with 2+ years in IB, consulting, Big 4 or corporate development, strong modelling skills, and a genuine interest in strategy and deals.
If you're commercially sharp, curious, and ready to step up, this role offers real progression as we scale.
About the role
This position offers immediate exposure to live transactions, senior stakeholders, and increasing ownership from day one.
You'll sit at the centre of our M&A; and growth agenda, contributing across the full deal lifecycle while developing the skills to step into a more senior role over time.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining financial models for acquisitions, organic growth projects, and strategic initiatives (both greenfield and brownfield)
Supporting end-to-end due diligence across active M&A; opportunities
Identifying and assessing new investment opportunities and market trends
Preparing high-quality materials and presenting insights to senior leadership, including the EGM Growth & Infrastructure, CEO, and investor group
Contributing commercial and strategic insights to investment decisions
Delivering ad-hoc analysis to support broader growth and operational initiatives
You'll work closely with experienced dealmakers and gain hands-on exposure to transactions, integration planning and strategic decision-making, providing a clear pathway for progression as the business continues to grow.
About you
2+ years' experience in investment banking, corporate development, management consulting, or Big 4
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Commercially minded, with a structured and strategic approach to problem solving
Curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow in an M&A; environment
Relevant tertiary qualifications (finance, accounting, economics); CA or CFA (completed or in progress)
Genuine opportunity to step up quickly due to team growth and internal progression
Direct exposure to senior leadership and infrastructure fund investors
Involvement in end-to-end deals, not just independent tasks
A high-growth platform in the environmental and resource recovery sector.
