Selling Sales Manager – Used Vehicles | Gold Coast

Are you a high-performing used vehicle salesperson who is ready to lead a team by example?
We are seeking an experiencedSelling Sales Managerto take ownership of our busy used vehicle department at our Gold Coast location (Arundel).
This is a genuine hands-on leadership role where you will sell alongside your team while driving performance, culture, and results.
As part of the respectedMainEvent RV Centre, you will have access to strong stock levels, quality facilities, and cross-department opportunities across current vehicles, RVs, caravans, finance, and service.
The Role
Lead and motivate the used vehicle sales team to consistently hit and exceed volume, gross profit, and KPI targets
Be a visible, hands-on seller — actively working the floor, closing deals, and leading by example
Manage the full used vehicle cycle: sourcing, appraising, pricing, reconditioning, and stock turn
Oversee the complete customer journey — from enquiry through to delivery, including trade-ins and finance
Implement strong sales processes, CRM discipline, and full regulatory compliance
Coach and develop sales consultants to lift individual and team performance
Collaborate with the broader group (new cars, RVs, finance & service) to maximise opportunities
About You




Proven track record as a top-performing used vehicle salesperson or sales manager in a dealership environment
Previous experience leading and developing a sales team
Strong negotiation, closing, and customer relationship skills
Solid understanding of used vehicle valuation, stock management, and reconditioning
Sound knowledge of Queensland motor dealer compliance requirements
Current Queensland Motor Salesperson Licence (or ability to obtain quickly)
Full, clean driver's licence
Energetic, positive leader with a genuine passion for the automotive industry
