The Opportunities
As an Underground Shift Boss, you'll provide frontline leadership to your underground crew, ensuring protected, productive and efficient mining operations while coordinating daily activities across your shift.
It's a hands-on operational leadership role where you'll play a critical part in maintaining safety standards, achieving production targets and developing the people around you.

Experienced Underground Shift Bosses looking for a new challenge
Underground Engineers who hold a WA statutory ticket and are ready to move into operational leadership
Mining professionals with the right statutory qualifications who are ready to take the next step in their leadership career
If you're an Underground Engineer who holds a WA statutory ticket and you're ready to move into operational leadership, Byrnecut offers the scale, mentoring and site diversity to make that transition with confidence.
Support, mentoring and ongoing development will be provided where required to help you succeed in the role.

Requirements
WA Underground Supervisor's Statutory Certificate (or currently working towards obtaining it)
Current Manual Australian Driver's Licence
Current First Aid Certificate (Or willing to obtain)
Full Australian working rights
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, National Police Clearance and drug & alcohol screening
