To contribute to the profitability and growth of Service Stream by establishing, processing and controlling the payment of wages and salaries and to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering ti the relevant statutory legislation and Service Streams Policies and Procedures.About the Role

This role is a12-month maximum-term contract, which transition into apermanent full time positionupon completion of the contract.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedPayroll Officerto join our Finance team in Adelaide.
This role is integral in managing and processing payroll efficiently and accurately, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate records and support payroll reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with relevant awards, Enterprise Agreements, HR, and payroll governance.
Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Nature of position:Contract (12 Month Max term contract), which transitions to a permanent role upon completion.
Locations:Hope Valley, SA

Key Responsibilities
Timely and Accurate Payroll Processing:Ensure all employees' Digital Time Sheets are reviewed and processed accurately and efficiently daily.
Enterprise Agreement Compliance:Interpret and apply relevant Enterprise Agreements to ensure payroll adherence.
Efficient Query Resolution:Respond to and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders promptly and professionally.
Data Entry & Validation:Utilise strong data analysis and analytical skills to validate payroll data and calculations, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Deadline Management:Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlines successfully.
Effective Communicate:Payroll matters effectively, fostering positive relationships with employees and other stakeholders.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:Maintain precise records of all payroll records in line with company policies.
Employee Data Management:Handle employee onboarding, offboarding,



and employment condition changes.
Audit Support:Assist with audit preparation by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
About You
Experience:Proven experience in processing medium to large payrolls and financial administration.
Desirable Qualifications:Certification in Payroll Administration or Diploma in Business Administration.
Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and financial management systems.
Attention to Detail:Exceptional data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaboration & Independence: Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment, effectively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
