Company Description Educational Case Management (ECM) is a NDIS registered multidisciplinary allied health practice based in Newcastle and Rutherford, serving the wider Hunter Valley region.
The organization provides psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, behavioral therapy, and allied health assistant services for children, adolescents, and adults.
ECM works collaboratively with medical, health, education, and welfare systems to ensure clients, including those who are marginalized, receive appropriate and coordinated care.
The team uses psychometric assessments, evidence-based therapies, and functional, motor, sensory, language, communication, and literacy supports to deliver holistic services.

Role Description The Psychologist will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnosis, and provide evidence-based interventions for clients across the lifespan.
Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering individual and group therapy, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with other allied health professionals to support multidisciplinary care.
The role also involves communicating with families, schools,



and external services to coordinate support, contributing to case management, and participating in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology, including theoretical knowledge and applied practice in diverse clinical presentations.Competence in Psychological Assessment, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychometric tools.Experience in Counseling and Mental Health support, with skills in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.Understanding of Medicine and broader health systems sufficient to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary settings.Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional board or authority.Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in clinical, educational, or community settings.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to inclusive, client-centered practice and ongoing skilled learning; experience in the Hunter Valley or similar community settings is an advantage
