Chemist Discount Centre Warragul is a busy, community-focused pharmacy located in the heart of Warragul.
As part of the Prime Pharmacy Group, a network of 22 pharmacies across Victoria and Queensland, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services and outstanding customer experiences.
Our pharmacy provides a comprehensive range of services, including:
• Prescription dispensing
• Dose Administration Aids (Webster Packs)
• Vaccination services
• Medication management support
• Health and wellness advice
• Community healthcare services
We operate seven days a week and pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our customers while supporting the health and wellbeing of our local community.
Our dispensary utilizes Fred NXT Plus, providing an efficient and modern workflow to support excellent patient care.
About the Role
As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Receiving and managing prescriptions for dispensing
• Assisting with the supply of medications to patients
• Supporting Webster Pack preparation and medication management services
• Managing dispensary stock and inventory levels
• Maintaining a clean,



organized and compliant dispensary workplace
• Providing exceptional customer service and patient support
• Supporting pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team with day-to-day operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A recognized Dispensing Technician qualification
• Previous experience working in a community pharmacy dispensary
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience using pharmacy dispensing software (Fred NXT Plus experience highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and strong team focus
• Reliability, professionalism and a strong work ethic
Trading Hours
• Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Sunday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Roster and hours will be discussed with the successful applicant.
