About our Role
Join the Barminco team as aPump Fitterand support our underground mining operations with an opportunity at our Hazelmere Workshop available in Western Australia for Perth based applicants only.
In this role, you'll play a key part in installing, maintaining, and repairing underground dewatering and service pumps ensuring effective water management and safe, continuous mining operations.
What will your day to day look like?
Install, maintain, and repair underground dewatering and service pumps
Monitor pump performance and respond to breakdowns and water management issues
Conduct routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance
Assemble and maintain pipework, valves, and associated fittings
Work safely in an underground environment in line with site procedures
Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to support continuous production
Our ideal candidate background includes




Previous experience working as a Pump Fitter ideally with underground mining and/or dewatering experience.
Exposure to challenge mono, flytgt submersible and/or centrifugal pumps will be highly regarded
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent).
Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).
