About the role
We have an exciting opportunity within the Yarra Ranges Council Customer Experience team, suited to an adaptable, bubbly individual.
We are currently looking for someone with a strong customer focus and work ethic to join our team providing services to all internal and external customers.
With a variety of working locations, we seek an individual who is motivated to actively support residents and visitors within the Yarra Ranges municipality on behalf of our organisation.
Multiple ongoing casual roles available.
Casual salary is $***** per hour, which includes 25% casual loading in lieu of annual and sick leave, plus 12% superannuation
Successful applicants will be required to work from all our five Community Link locations.
There is a requirement to be available during peak periods (School Holidays, Christmas, January), and to attend an occasional After-Hours meeting.
Our Community Links are located in Lilydale, Upwey, Healesville, Yarra Junction and Monbulk
Successful candidates will be required to attend training on a full-time basis for 3 weeks, rotating through all of the Community Link locations.
What you'll bring to our team
Provide a high quality, efficient and accurate service to internal and external customers.
Demonstrate commitment to the provision of a high-quality customer experience through continuous improvement, teamwork, and a positive team culture.
Accurately process customer payments, complete customer requests, record transactions and discreetly process personal documentation via various Council systems in accordance with Council procedures.
Display competent use of corporate systems, sourcing of information and contribute to knowledge resources.
Experience in fast paced environments




Willingness to support a wide variety of tasks.
A strong track record of supporting challenging customers of all ages.
Passion for providing a positive Customer Experience.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers.
