Job Summary
West Coast Fluid Systems (WCFS) is seeking experiencedTube Fitters / Fluid Systems Techniciansto join our growing team supporting Defence and Marine projects in Henderson, Western Australia.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of vessel fluid systems including hydraulic oil, fuel, lubrication oil, fresh water, sea water and pneumatic systems while supporting installation, testing, flushing and commissioning activities on Defence and Marine projects.
The successful applicants will work as part of a specialised fluid systems team undertaking tubing installation, system modifications, pressure testing, flushing, contamination control and commissioning support activities within a high-quality shipbuilding and maintenance environment.

This role would suit experienced tube fitters, hydraulic technicians, fluid systems technicians or mechanically minded tradespeople with experience working on industrial, marine, defence,



oil & gas or mining projects.
Key Responsibilities
•Fabrication, installation and modification of small bore tubing systems
•Installation and connection of hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, fresh water, sea water and pneumatic systems
•Installation of valves, fittings, tubing supports and associated components
•Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and piping layouts
•Hydraulic and fluid system pressure testing
•Flushing, filtration and contamination control activities
•System cleanliness verification and preparation for commissioning
•Assisting with commissioning and functional testing activities
•Inspection and verification of installed systems
•Completion of quality and project documentation
•Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
•Working closely with supervisors, project personnel and client representatives
What We're Looking For
•Experience in tubing and fluid system installation
•Experience working with hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, water or pneumatic systems
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
•Strong attention to detail and workmanship
•Commitment to safety and quality
•Ability to work within Defence, Marine or industrial environments
