About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking3 experienced Manual Lathe Machiniststo join our Bibra Lake workshop.
We haveboth casual and full-time positions available, offering flexibility for the right candidates.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision machining, takes pride in producing quality work and likes the variety that comes with a busy general engineering workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Operate manual lathes to produce components to specification
Perform general machining using mills, drills and other workshop equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Measure,



inspect and verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments
Assist with repair, maintenance and light fabrication work as required
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
About You
Essential
Demonstrated experience operating manual lathes
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Commitment to safe work practices
Desirable
Forklift Licence
Overhead crane experience
