Orthopaedic Scrub Scout Clinical Nurse

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout to join our team at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Level 2 role.
This role will be 0.8fte, permanent part-time (4 days per week).
At Calvary North Adelaide Hospital (CNAH), our operating theatre suite features:
7 Operating Theatres and 3 Procedural Rooms
Our specialties include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Oro-Maxillofacial, Plastics, and Ophthalmology
Caring for both Adult and Paediatric surgical patients
Our theatres operate over a 6-day rotating roster (Mon-Sat) with early and late shifts - No Night Shift required.
After hours emergency theatres are supported by our On-call roster with an experienced nursing team.
Your main duties as the Clinical Nurse - Orthopaedics will include:
Represent and lead the orthopaedic scrub/scout specialty at CNAH
Coordinate orthopaedic lists and ensure all necessary equipment is available
Communicate with internal and external key stakeholders
Relieve in the Shift Coordinator role
Educate staff in the orthopaedic specialty
About you
AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
Theatre robotic experience is highly desirable
Minimum 3+ years clinical experience in Orthopaedic Scrub Scout role
Previous Clinical Nurse experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Passion for staff education
