About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Underground Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong underground mining experience who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality electrical work while mentoring and supporting their team.
Working across FIFO underground mining projects, you will be responsible for supervising electrical crews, coordinating daily activities, ensuring compliance with site and statutory requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
· Lead and supervise underground electrical personnel on site.
· Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to schedule.
· Oversee the installation, maintenance and commissioning of HV and LV electrical infrastructure.
· Provide technical support and guidance to electricians and apprentices.
· Ensure all work complies with site safety standards, statutory regulations and company procedures.
· Conduct pre-start meetings, risk assessments and toolbox talks.
· Monitor work quality and productivity while maintaining high safety standards.
· Assist with planning shutdowns,
project execution and resource allocation.
· Liaise with clients, site supervisors and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
· Complete site reporting, documentation and compliance records.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:
· Current WA Electrical Workers Licence.
· Extensive underground mining electrical experience.
· Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role.
· S26 Statutory Supervisor Certified
· HV Switching qualification.
· Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
· Current First Aid and LVR/CPR.
· Working at Heights and relevant underground mining certifications.
· Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and commissioning experience.
· Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
· A robust commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
