Join an established Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation making a difference.Koya Aboriginal Corporation is seeking an experienced, compassionate and culturally responsiveCase Management Officerto support Aboriginal children, young people, young adults and families through ourIntensive Family Support Service (IFSS)andWaalbiirning Wirrins Indigenous Healing Service for children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence.
Working across both services, you will coordinate referrals and intake, undertake holistic assessments and risk assessments, develop and review case plans, provide strengths-based case management, facilitate referrals to internal and external services and support clients to achieve their goals, in a culturally safe, trauma-informed, strengths-based environment.
We are looking for someone who is committed to Aboriginal self-determination and passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
You will have experience in case management, child and family support or community services, together with solid assessment, risk management and relationship-building skills.
Working collaboratively with Koya staff, partner agencies and community organisations, you will help strengthen safety, wellbeing, healing, resilience, family capacity and connection to family, culture and community while ensuring every client receives coordinated, high-quality support.
