Cock & Bull Tavern is currently seeking GRILL CHEF/CHEF to work in a busy and fast paced kitchen.
Duties/responsibilities
Produce and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Ensure hotel menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed.
Develop collaborative relationships with hotel owners and leaders to provide quality food and prompt service to our many regular customers.
Create a positive working environment.
Clean and maintain kitchen premises and follow all workplace hygiene procedures and regulations.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Ensuring kitchen equipment is maintained.
Skills/experience
Prior experience is recommended, but not essential.
We will train the right person up from scratch!
Trade qualified: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent with experience.




Previous experience in high volume food preparation and high-volume customer environment.
High level of interpersonal, communication and team skills.
Professional dress and grooming standards along with a high standard in customer service.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work various shifts including nights & weekends.
The ability to work individually and in a team setting.
