About the Role
There is an amazing opportunity to work in our TechnicalProduction and Operations team, within our Cultural and Community Hub team.
It's an exciting time to join a team, and be a part ofchange and growth, while delivering high quality technical, production andoperational services across cultural, civic and communityvenues.
The role is responsible for:
Assisting in the coordination of hirers tounderstand their technical requirements, to achieve optimum satisfaction levelsfor their performance and the audience.
To supervise technical support staff as directed.
To provide excellent technical and customer services for performances, functions and events at all cultural and community hubs.
Ensure a safe and clean environment is providedfor all events.
Ensure all equipment is well maintained, auditedand set up and running smoothly for events.
About You
The successful applicant will have solid knowledge of thetechnical industry, be passionate about working with a variety of communitygroups, stakeholders and clients to deliver exceptional technical outcomes.
You will need these essential qualifications (orexperience),
knowledge and skills to carryout this position:
Diploma or certificate in technical field, or specialist technical qualifications with limited work experience, or lesserformal qualifications with demonstrated relevant work skills in technicalservice and support for functions or events.
Demonstrated experience in the technicaloperation of a live theatre, performing arts centre, community venues, acrossTheatre Lighting, Sound or Staging.
Demonstrated ability to support technical staff.
Proven experience working within a small teamenvironment, contributing to both group and individual work goals.
Must be ableto work flexibly across a range of hours, including availability for overtimeand time-in-lieu (TIL) where required.
Basic knowledge of Yamaha Audio, CrestronControl Systems, and Osys Audio Processors, exposure to Dante Audio Networkingand familiarity with NDI Video Environments.
Desirable qualifications include, test andtagging, rigging and working at heights.
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptionalcustomer service to clients and hirers from a diverse background, addressingtheir technical and logistical needs with professionalism and courtesy, while resolving minor technical issues
Experience in providing support and guidance toclients regarding technical requirements, ensuring a smooth and positiveexperience before, during, and after events.
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of MSsoftware, as well as Council's booking systems.
Well-developed written and oral communicationskills to effectively communicate with clients, hirers, and team members from diverse backgrounds.
