About the Role:
We are seeking aCookto join our Bowral House Team on a part-time basis with various shifts available!
You will be based at our Bowral House, located at***** Kangaloon Rd Bowral NSW ****.
Weekly Shift Times: 10:00am to 6:00pm (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday), 7:00am - 3:00pm (Friday)
Bowral House is seeking askilled and compassionate Cookto join our team in a warm, resident-focusedaged care facility.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, home-style meals and understands the importance of food in enhancing quality of life for older people.
Desired Skills & Experience for Cook:
Police Check (National Police Certificate)(Essential)
At least 2-3 years experience as a Cook(Essential)
Previous experience as a Cook in Aged Care (preferrable)
Assist in the preparation of food and serving of meals
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
Commitment to providing quality services to residents




Knowledge of infection control procedures
General kitchen cleaning and maintenance
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Food safety experience in a healthcare setting desirable
