About the role
Pasta Addiction, located in Fremantle WA ****, surrounded by The University Of Notre Dame in leafy West end, is seeking aCook/Kitchenhandon acasual basis.
This is an exciting prospect to join our dynamic kitchen team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
As a Cook/Kitchenhand, you will play a vital role in delivering freshly prepared pasta meals.
Help prepare food to fill front display fridge.
This position offers flexibility with casual work arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking part-time or variable hours within the hospitality sector.
Great for family friendly hours.
Early 7:30 am starts and late afternoon finish.
No evenings or weekend work as our cafe is only open Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
Help set up cafe for busy day.
Start with making fresh pasta, cooking and portioning for busy service.
Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, measuring, and organising ingredients
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, and pasta-making equipment
Help with catering orders for local businesses.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as required
Have good chopping skills for fresh vegetable pasta meals, soups & salads.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods to meet customer demands
Respond to feedback and continuously improve cooking techniques and kitchen practices
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Cook, Kitchenhand, or in a similar kitchen role within a hospitality setting
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail




Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staff
Physical stamina and the capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
