Taylor Screens is seeking a skilled and reliableScreen & Shower Installerto join our growing team in Moonah, Tasmania.
This is afull-time positionthat plays a vital role in delivering high-quality installations to our valued customers.
As a Screen & Shower Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation of screens and shower enclosures in residential and commercial properties.
This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction across all our projects.
Key responsibilities
Measure and assess installations sites accurately to ensure proper fit and finish of screens and shower enclosures
Install screens and shower products to the highest standards, adhering to manufacturer specifications and building codes
Operate and maintain installation tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare work areas and protect existing fixtures and finishes during the installation process
Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients during installations
Maintain accurate records of completed installations and materials used
Identify and report any issues or damage discovered during site assessments
Work collaboratively with the team to meet project timelines and maintain quality standards
Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Proven experience in screen and shower installation or related building trades
Strong knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and best practices in the building trades industry
Proficiency in using installation tools and equipment safely and competently
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various positions
Current Tasmanian Driver's license or ability to obtain.
Valid working rights in Australia
A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
Preferred: Relevant qualifications or certifications in building trades or screen installation
Ability to Obtain a Working with Vulnerable People Card, Construction White Card & Police check
Proven reliability, punctuality and work ethic
