The Role
We are seeking a Factory Assistant (Cabinet Manufacturing) who is an intuitive decision-maker, has great instincts to assess situations quickly and accurately.
This role requires you to be a great team player who is selfless and compassionate in providing others with what they need in the right way.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring production team members have the tools, materials and hardware when and where they need it; assisting production team members with their tasks to ensure continuous flow; receiving deliveries from suppliers and organising inventory; and meeting clients and provide them with the finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing production team members with the materials, hardware and assistance when and where they need it




Day-to-day organisation of factory
Operating forklift for deliveries, pick-ups and moving material within factory
Managing inventory of board - receiving and storing new deliveries and managing off-cuts
Increasing the efficiency of factory processes
Communicate effectively with the drafting team, machining team and assembly team members
Improvement of manufacturing processes
About You
We are looking for a proactive individual that are gifted at and derive energy and joy from providing others with encouragement and assistance for projects and tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years of experiencein operating a forklift (Forklift license is compulsory)
Ability tomanage inventorywith a strong focus on detail
Problem-solving skillswith a growth mindset
Excellentcommunication skillsto liaise effectively with team members
Commitment tosmart working,continuous improvement, and personal development and success
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturingprinciples is favourable
