Responsibilities
Maintain and improve quality and food safety systems by performing analytical testing, analytical instrument calibration and maintenanceTrain and coach the site team in quality processes and testingConduct internal audits,



generating and analysing reports and support with customer complaints and investigationsChemical preparation handlingEnsure compliance with Hold and Abort systemsComply with site GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Policy to ensure quality and food safety of products manufactured comply to specification
Qualifications
Qualifications in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline (Required)Previous laboratory experience in similar manufacturing environment requiredHigh level of technical skills in the areas of instrumentation and/or chemistry & mechanical reasoning Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh levels of self-management and initiative with the ability to plan and prioritise, along with set and achieve targets
