This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable Workshop Technician seeking long-term employment within a supportive and growing business.
The successful candidate will commence with WorkPac before transitioning to a permanent position after approximately six months.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Workshop Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the workshop.
You will assist with the assembly and manufacture of hydraulic hoses and fittings while carrying out general workshop and trade assistant duties in a protected and efficient manner.
Your duties will include:
• Assisting with the assembly and manufacture of hydraulic hoses and fittings
• Preparing materials and components for production
• Operating basic hand and power tools
• Assisting with workshop tasks and minor repairs
• Completing general labouring and trade assistant duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
• Assisting with stock handling and movement of materials
• Following workplace safety procedures and contributing to a safe working environment
Roster:
Day Shift
• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am - 4:00pm
• 1 hour paid lunch break
What You Will Need:
• Previous labouring, trade assistant, workshop or hands-on experience (essential)
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools (essential)
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Commitment to long-term employment
• Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work
• Current Driver's Licence (desirable)
• Experience within a mechanical, manufacturing, hydraulic or industrial environment (highly regarded)
