THE OPPORTUNITY
– Own daily transport operations — scheduling, disruptions, driver shortages and dispatch
support
– Coordinate fleet maintenance, defect management and workshop liaison with Fleet
Controller and Fleet Manager
– Lead driver recruitment, inductions, performance management and attendance
– Maintain fatigue compliance and support NHVR regulatory activities
– Conduct driver observations, vehicle inspections and toolbox talks
– Report weekly on fleet availability, defects, driver performance and compliance
WHAT YOU BRING
– Background in heavy vehicle transport, logistics or livehaul operations




– Working knowledge of NHVR compliance and fatigue management obligations
– Experience coordinating fleet maintenance and managing vehicle defects
– Confident leading and holding a team of drivers accountable
– Organised, proactive communicator who flags issues before they escalate
