As our founding leader, you will play a pivotal role in launching the centre.
Initially, you will drive community engagement, manage early enrolments, and build a high-performing team of educators.
Once open, you will serve as theNominated Supervisor, overseeing daily operations, pedagogical leadership, commercial viability, and strict compliance with national regulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Centre Launch & Enrolment Growth
Drive local marketing initiatives and community networking to promote the new centre.
Lead family tours, manage the waitlist, and oversee the enrolment pipeline to reach occupancy targets.
Build strong, trusting relationships with families from their very first enquiry.
2. Compliance & National Quality Framework (NQF)
Act as the legally responsibleNominated Supervisorunder the Education and Care Services National Law.
Ensure total compliance with the National Quality Standard (NQS) and WA Child Care Regulations.
Establish, implement, and review centre policies, procedures, and the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).




Maintain a child-safe environment by ensuring all staff have valid WA Working with Children Checks (WWC) and required certifications.
3. OWNA Software Administration
Utilize OWNA CCMS for seamless Child Care Subsidy (CCS) management, automated billing, and family enrolment pipelines.
Manage educator rosters, digital timesheets, and staff credentials using theOWNA HR & Payroll & Employment Heroecosystem.
Train and oversee educators in using OWNA for digital curriculum planning, daily observations, and attendance logging.
Maintain high levels of family engagement through proactive updates via theOWNA Parent App.
4. Team Leadership & Recruitment
Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain a team of qualified Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) and educators.
Build a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture.
Design and manage staff rosters to ensure strict adherence to WA staff-to-child ratios and qualification quotas at all times.
Conduct regular performance reviews and coordinate professional development opportunities.
5. Financial & Operational Management
Manage the centre's operational budget, including labor costs, resources, and consumables.
Ensure accurate billing, payment tracking, and financial reporting through the integrated childcare software.
Manage daily centre operations, including workplace health and safety (WHS), food safety, and facility maintenance.
6. Educational Program Leadership




Collaborate with the Educational Leader to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, play-based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Foster an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates cultural diversity, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Minimum Qualification:An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher, such as a Bachelor of Education).
Experience:Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Centre Manager or Assistant Centre Manager in an Australian early childhood setting.
Proven track record of driving enrolments, managing budgets, and successfully navigating NQS assessment and rating processes.
Certifications & Licences (Mandatory)
ValidWA Working with Children Check (WWC)card.
CurrentNational Police Clearance(less than 6 months old).
ACECQA-approvedEmergency First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Managementqualifications.
Completed (or willing to complete)Child Protection Trainingapproved for WA.
Skills & Attributes
