About The Client
Our Client is a respected civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure and development projects across South East Queensland.
They are currently seeking experienced Civil Concreters/Pit Builders to join their team on a long-term project based in Rochedale, offering stable work and excellent rates.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Civil Concreter/Pit Builder you will be responsible for the below duties:
Reading construction drawings and specifications for pit building and concrete worksSetting out pit locations and levels to project requirementsBuilding stormwater pits and installing pit lids, grates and access coversConstructing kerbs, gutters and culvertsOperating hand and power tools safely and effectivelyInstalling barricades and exclusion zonesCompleting manual handling tasks as requiredAssisting with site preparation and general clean-up duties
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
Previous experience as a Civil Concreter or Pit BuilderProven experience constructing pits and concrete structuresWhite CardDrivers Licence and reliable transportAbility to perform physical labouring dutiesStrong commitment to workplace safetyHR Licence or operating tickets highly advantageous
