The Queensland Health Statewide Persistent Pain Health Services Strategy provides funding for five Persistent Pain Management Services across Queensland.
The North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service (NQPPMS) operates as a hub service, delivering multidisciplinary care to people living with persistent pain.
The service is staffed by a diverse team of medical, nursing, allied health and administrative professionals who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and support.

About your role:
In this position you will....
.
Deliver senior clinical services (including case management and assessment, diagnosis and treatment interventions) to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team and in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.




Participate in the systematic pursuit and practical application of valid and reliable evidence to support clinical practice; and contribute to the development and review of physiotherapy treatment protocols and related service procedures to guide physiotherapy clinical practice and ensure high standards of care, consistency, currency of practice, and effectiveness.
Act as a resource person in the area of pain management providing clinical advice to physiotherapists and other health professionals, professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery.
