About the Role
We are looking for an experiencedElectrical Draftsperson / Electrical Design Drafterto join our team and help deliver high-quality switchboard projects from concept through to production.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical design work, takes pride in accurate documentation, and wants to be part of a business known for quality workmanship and reliable outcomes.
In this role, you will:
prepare and interpret electrical schematics and general arrangement drawings
produce accurate drafting documentation for switchboard manufacture
assist with simple control circuit design
work closely with production and engineering to deliver practical, buildable solutions
help ensure designs meet relevant standards includingAS/NZS ****andAS/NZS *****
contribute to tailored outcomes for a wide range of client requirements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
experience in electrical drafting, switchboard design,



or electrical engineering
strong AutoCAD skills and confidence producing technical drawings
solid knowledge of electrical switchboards and associated design principles
an understanding of Sheetmetal or enclosure-based design
a practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
