Job Description
GRSA DEOL PTY LTD The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight while ensuring compliance with Australian road transport legislation, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), and company operational procedures.
The successful candidate will carry out vehicle inspections, maintain accurate transport records, secure loads appropriately, and provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
This role requires a proactive, safety-conscious individual who is committed to delivering reliable transport services while maintaining high standards of professionalism and vehicle care.

Conduct pre-start, daily, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
Load, unload, and secure freight in accordance with load restraint standards and transport regulations.
Transport goods according to scheduled delivery times while maintaining service quality.
Complete delivery documentation, logbooks,



consignment notes, and transport records accurately.
Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report maintenance issues, faults, or incidents.
Comply with Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management requirements, and company policies.
Plan and follow delivery routes to maximise operational efficiency.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Communicate effectively with dispatch personnel, customers, and management regarding operational matters.
Ensure freight is transported securely and delivered without damage.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe manual handling practices.
Assist with minor operational duties as required to support transport activities.
Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.
Qualification & experience Essential Valid Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence appropriate for the class of vehicle operated (HR, HC, or MC Licence preferred).
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant full-time experience in freight transport, logistics, distribution, or related industries.




Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy vehicles under varying road and weather conditions.
Knowledge of heavy vehicle safety regulations, load restraint requirements, and fatigue management.
Ability to complete transport documentation accurately and maintain delivery records.
Good communication skills.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Desirable Experience operating HC or MC vehicles for metropolitan, regional, or interstate freight transport.
Knowledge of Western Australian transport routes and logistics operations.
Experience using Electronic Work Diaries (EWD) or transport management systems.
Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and transport compliance requirements.
Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
