We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and professionalLegal Assistant / Junior Paralegalto join our team at our Hope Island office.
This position provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a plaintiff personal injury law practice while working alongside experienced lawyers, paralegals and support staff.
Whether you are an experienced administrator looking for a rewarding recent challenge, a graduate of a Paralegal Services qualification, or a university law student seeking hands-on legal experience, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on role that will see you involved in:
Client communication and file management.
Preparing legal correspondence and documents.
Liaising with medical providers, insurers and other professionals.
Scheduling appointments and diary management.
Opening and maintaining legal files.
General administration and support for our legal team.
Assisting lawyers and senior paralegals with the progression of compensation claims.

Desirable (but not essential)
Previous administration experience.
Experience in a law firm, medical practice or professional office.
Diploma of Paralegal Services or similar qualification.
Current studies in Law, Justice or a related discipline.
