We're looking for a caring, reliable and positive person to join our dedicated support team.
You'll be supporting a young adult with complex physical disabilities to live a full and meaningful life at home, at TAFE and in the community.
This is more than a support worker role—it's an opportunity to become part of a close-knit, nationally award-winning team making a genuine difference in one person's life.
No previous disability experience is necessary.
We provide comprehensive, individualised training.
We're looking for the right person rather than the perfect résumé.
The role includes:
• Personal care
• PEG & oral feeding
• Manual handling
• Supporting communication using AAC
• Supporting participation in meaningful daily activities
• Providing support at TAFE
• Inactive overnight support
We're looking for someone who is:
• Empathetic, enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Passionate about person-centred support
• Exceptionally reliable and committed
• Able to work collaboratively within a team and on their own
• Looking for regular, ongoing, long-term employment
Roster:
This position is part of a 24/7 rotating roster and includes weekdays, weekends, public holidays,



school holidays and inactive overnight shifts.
We're seeking someone with regular ongoing availability of***** hours per week minimum, with opportunities for additional hours.
Essential requirements:
• Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or Police Check
• Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009 or equivalent)
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Health screening checks (for successful applicants)
Qualifications:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or a willingness to complete the qualification.
Applicants without a Certificate III are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant may be offered a12-month full-time traineeship, allowing them to complete the qualification while employed.
Pay & Conditions:
• Above SCHADS Award rates following successful completion of training and demonstrated competency
• Casual position with opportunities to transition to permanent part time or full-time employment
